Weekes Acquires Snavely Distribution

St. Paul Minnesota, January 31, 2018:   Tom Le Vere, President of St. Paul based Weekes Forest Products is pleased to announce the acquisition of Snavely Forest Products.  Snavely, founded in 1902, operates distribution facilities in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Westminster, Maryland, Greensboro, North Carolina, Dallas, Texas, and Denver, Colorado.   Weekes, founded in 1978, currently has distribution centers in St. Paul, Minnesota; Fargo, North Dakota; Green Bay and Jackson, Wisconsin; Riverdale, Illinois; Comstock Park, Michigan; and Tampa Florida and well as a trading office in St. Paul, MN. Read the full story here

Site Improvements at WFP Chicago!

Weekes Chicago invested in their Distribution Site! “This is just the beginning,” according to Tim Sandrik, Chicago facility manager, “First things first, we added improvements for safe operation and material handling. We then constructed new warehouse space for additional inside storage.” Tim continues, “Our customers tell us that they like our product mix and services and keep on suggesting other products they would like from us. We have to respond to that.”
