ACCOUNT MANAGER-RETAIL LUMBER & BIG BOXES

Weekes Forest Products is a leading, growth
oriented Building Products wholesaler adding people and products. We are
looking for a sales associate with determination and savvy to join our
growing Chicago Team.
Sales
1. Solicit
sales from assigned accounts, primarily large chain retail lumber yards within a
30-40 mile radius of our branch in Riverdale, Illinois. These stores could be,
but are not limited to, The Home Depot, Lowe’s, Menards, Carter Lumber, 84
Lumber and pro-oriented independent dealers. Sales territory could grow to include a
larger area based on sales growth and sales experience.
2. Travel to
these yards on a consistent and regular basis to do in-store sales, training,
and promoting the products that Weekes Forest Products distributes from our yard
in Riverdale, Illinois.
3. Inside sales
support to consist of answering incoming telephone calls from all Weekes Forest
Products Customers as well as the accounts assigned to you.
4. Attain
mutually acceptable sales and gross profit goals by managing margins on all
sales to your assigned accounts.
5. Prospect for
new accounts to sell all products Weekes Forest Products distributes, both
retail and industrial accounts.
Marketing
1. Participate
in dealer shows as necessary for the accounts assigned to you as well as those
not assigned. This includes Home and Garden shows.
2. Assist
branch personnel in promotional activities for your accounts as well as the
accounts assigned to you.
General
1. Be the
Product Manager for to be determined products at the branch.
