INDUSTRIAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE &
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

1.
Sales
-
Solicit sales to assigned accounts
for both yard and direct sales and attain mutually acceptable goals for
sales, profit and margins from your accounts.
-
Develop a prospect data base on
computer for use in marketing efforts.
-
Participate in meetings to represent
our company and prospect for new accounts.
-
Be a backup to others in the sales
department when needed.
-
Assist in answering inbound sales
calls for the Branch.
-
Travel as necessary to get to know
your customers; prospect, introduce new products and services, inspect
complaints, etc.
-
Assist occasionally with City Desk
calls, physical inventory and other company projects.
2.
Marketing
-
Help develop marketing strategies to
help WFP expand sales in the industrial and specialty market it serves.
-
Develop special grades to
differentiate WFP Products from the competitors and more accurately fit
customer needs.
3.
Credit
-
Assist Credit Manager to collect
timely, correcting information on new accounts, and changes in current
accounts. Price all slow paying accounts accordingly.

4.
General
-
Be the Product Manager for (TBD)
products at the branch.

Manage pricing

Do purchasing for certain products
(TBD)

Assume other Product Manager duties
for certain other product categories to be determined.
