Fungi as well as other wood destroying organisms and insects all like the identical conditions that lead to problems, namely moisture and humidity. Because of this, right from the start you have a better conditioned board that better maintains dimensional stability for reduced cupping, checking, swelling and nail popping. BLUWOOD’s Prime Perfect wood conditioning and preserving pre-finish primer for fascia, trim boards and siding products as well as interior wood products; exterior BLUWOOD primed surfaces are required to be top coated with a paint, stain or clear sealer. BLUWOOD’s Prime Perfect primed components are available in blue or clear primer colors.

No, BLUWOOD components are handled identically to untreated wood; no special tools, fasteners, plates or hangers are required. BLUWOOD also has no volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) as well as being non-corrosive.

The modern home environment can easily provide all of the moisture, humidity and dampeners needed for successful fungal growth.
